What we can help with

What we cannot help with

We do not give medical advice by email. Questions about your specific insulin, your specific dose, your specific symptoms, or your specific situation must go to your own prescriber, a diabetes educator, or — in an emergency — your local emergency number. We will not answer them, even if you ask politely.

This is not because we do not care. It is because giving individualized advice without seeing you, your records, your other medications, and your full clinical picture would be unsafe. Your care team has all of those things. We do not.

What happens to your message

Messages are read by the editorial team and treated as confidential. We do not share your email address or your message with anyone outside the team, and we do not add senders to any kind of mailing list. If your message points to an error, we will tell you what we changed and on which page.

We try to respond to every message within two weeks, though sometimes it takes longer. If your note does not require a reply (a kind word, a small clarification), we may simply make the change without writing back — but we still appreciate it.
